Casey Delgado kept the Windy City ThunderBolts (16-26) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Traverse City Beach Bums (16-27) beat the Windy City ThunderBolts, 2-1.

Delgado allowed five hits, two walks and struck out four.

A walk-off double by Jake Rhodes gave the Traverse City Beach Bums the win.

Rhodes had a hot bat for the Traverse City Beach Bums. Rhodes went 2-5 and drove in one. He singled in the ninth inning and doubled in the eleventh inning.

Jeff DeBlieux had two extra-base hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He homered in the sixth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Chuck Ghysels got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Victor Larez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
