Nic Jackson went 1-4 as the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (2-5) took home an 8-4 victory over the El Paso Diablos (2-5) at Cohen Stadium on Wednesday.

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks got the win thanks in large part to Alex Caldera's dominant, nine-strikeout performance. Caldera allowed two earned runs, six hits and two walks over 7 2/3 innings.

Chandler Barnard brought the heat against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks during his outing. Barnard gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Luis Chirinos was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
