Mark Hardy kept the Grand Prairie AirHogs (0-2) off the board during his six innings of work and the Winnipeg Goldeyes (2-0) beat the Grand Prairie AirHogs, 5-0.

Hardy allowed one hit, two walks and struck out seven.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes were led by Casey Haerther's hitting. Haerther went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Josh Strawn (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
