Josh Mazzola racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Winnipeg Goldeyes. He singled in the second inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Juan M. Richardson was solid at the plate for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. M. Richardson went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Matthew Rusch got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered six hits.

Derek Blacksher (0-1) took the loss for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
