The Amarillo Sox come from behind to beat the El Paso Diablos, 11-8

The Amarillo Sox (3-1) trailed by two in the eighth, but Joe Weik was able to capture the lead back with a in the eighth, spurring the Amarillo Sox to an 11-8 win over the El Paso Diablos (1-3) at Cohen Stadium on Friday.

With the score tied at eight in the eighth inning,, bringing home Joe Anthonsen and David Peralta.

Weik racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Amarillo Sox. He doubled in the fourth inning.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 19 total runs and 22 hits during the game. There were 12 pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Trey Ford went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Amarillo Sox. He singled in the third, fourth, and ninth innings.

Matt Larkins got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Larkins struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Kevin Brahney (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
