The Windy City ThunderBolts (35-39) beat the Washington Wild Things (35-38) 7-5 on Sunday at CONSOL Energy Park behind Evan Button, who went 2-3 and hit a home run.

He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

The Washington Wild Things had no answer for Jessie Snodgrass, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Snodgrass held the Washington Wild Things hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
