Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Tuesday as the Schaumburg Boomers (28-19) outscored the Rockford Aviators (14-31) 9-8.

The two teams combined for 26 hits in the game.

Chad Mozingo racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Schaumburg Boomers. He doubled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

The Rockford Aviators couldn't get anything going so long as Seth Webster was on the hill. Webster gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Edgar Corcino got on base four times in the game for the Rockford Aviators. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.

Drew Rucinski was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out four.
