The Gateway Grizzlies (9-5) took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Traverse City Beach Bums (8-7), securing a 5-3 victory on Saturday at GCS Ballpark.

Vladimir Frias had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fifth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Chase Burch racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He homered in the seventh innings.

Zac Treece got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Matt Miller (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.

Jon Myers, Frias and Jose Flores helped lead the Gateway Grizzlies. They combined for six hits and three RBIs.
